32" Balusters are designed for Knee Wall (closed stringer) design.  The profiles run parallel with the handrail (Rake Rail Oriented Design).  See Knee Wall Drawing above.

35" and 39" balusters are tread mounted and are also a Rake Rail Oriented Design (profiles follow handrail).  See Open Stringer Drawing above.

41" balusters are used primarily for Balconies, Volutes, Turnouts, ext.

All balusters are designed for stairways with a 10" run, 7 1/2" rise, and a 34" rake rail height.
