I got your name from my (very picky) brother, who spoke highly of your work on his basic balusters. He said you communicated well, delivered on time and the price was reasonable.
Our job entailed replicating ornate balusters from a Civil War era brownstone in Brooklyn, NY. Although they took longer than you'd anticipated, you apprised me of the delay and they were well worth waiting for. The new are virtually indistinguishable from the originals and have helped return the building to its original glory. The price was fair and you were a pleasure to deal with.

"When my daughter asked me to help her get a curved stairs leading to her new second floor house, I was very skeptical whether I could help her. You see, I live way out in the Pacific in the island of Guam, a US Territory. The Island is very far from the United States and there are no finished carpenters doing wooden stairs, especially curved stairs. Practically all homes on Guam are built with concrete or concrete blocks. I knew that the only way is to order the stairs from the US and then have it shipped to Guam. However, there are several problems that I must overcome to insure that the stairs are right and installed properly. The first problem was that the original staircase was designed and formed with concrete and is not designed to be curved. Secondly, the contract laborers building the house are all Chinese alien workers and do not speak or read English. Finally, my daughter has a deadline with the bank to finish the house. I was very much concerned that even if we have the stair products on time, problems during the installation may occur and the distance from the US to Guam may cause further delays to resolve whatever problems that may occur. I contacted several off-island companies doing stairs and other wood products. I expressed my concerns to them. Of all the companies I contacted, only "Kinzel Products Inc.," have expressed interests and is willing to work out the concerns with me. After numerous e-mails, pictures, and templates, with Mark Kinzel of Kinzel Products, We received the stairs and other accessories. We installed the stairs under the guidance of Mark. My daughter, her family and I are very pleased and happy with the stairs.
My daughter's home is now a showcase to many homebuilders and homeowners looking for wooden stairs on the Island. I have been doing home improvements for 35 years and have never been more satisfied than with the quality of support and more importantly the impeccable workmanship found in the products I purchased from Kinzel. For my most recent project I completely rebuilt a staircase and balcony railing. The Brazilian Cherry handrails are gorgeous but the beauty and craftsmanship found in the birds-eye maple/Brazilian cherry newel posts and balusters are nothing short of stunning.
